How To Market Your Business With Social Media

September 2nd, 2010

Be Limitless Now,

Social Media is numerous things. It is a wonderful company developing tool. It’s a fantastic networking and learning tool. And when used correctly it can be a very good marketing device. Here is how to sell with social media.

#1 Use social media to create a brand. Social Media is a great brand building tool. Brands are essential since they assist a prospect to develop a name for you. When you have a powerful brand identification your prospective customers will think about you first when they have a need. Creating a brand with social networking needs time to work. It takes developing a plan, a message, and a brand image.

Choose what image or brand you intend to communicate and then create a plan to get it done. Your plan will likely involve communicating on the net. As well as placing messages on social networking websites, and making a profile that represents your brand, you will interact in a manner that is consistent with your message.

#2 Use social networking to boost likeability. For most businesses their brand is their own personality and this is simple to communicate by way of social media. We purchase from individuals we like and from people we connect with. Social Media is an effective way to communicate who you are and what exactly you’re about so you can successfully communicate your own individuality. Always be friendly, be funny, be informative, be who you are and your viewers will connect with you and eventually purchase from you.

#3 Use social networking to calmly, subtly promote your products or services. You need to be watchful with social media. People sign up for social media internet sites such as Facebook and Twitter to interact, not to go shopping. They do not like nor do they respond to blatant sales messages.

You can from time to time post a promotion or a new product on social networking sites. The best successes tend to come from promotions that are specific to your connections on that internet site. For example, “Facebook Friends 20% off Promotion.” However, it’s also crucial to test and track promotion tactics to determine what your target audience reacts to. Take great care when using social media to supply valuable information and interaction or you’ll let down potential customers.

#4 Market. Numerous social media sites now provide highly targeted advertising options. Like all advertising strategy, it pays to invest sensibly, test and track for optimal return on investment. Nevertheless, business owners experience good results using social networking marketing choices.

#5 Incorporate your social media interactions into your business internet site. It’s about making a community. After you have a group of individuals who follow you, trust your authority and credibility, and then selling via social media is simple.

The key to using social networking to market is by using it as a device to create your relationship with your prospect. Utilizing it as a medium to provide a sales message usually doesn’t work. Fit the message to the medium and utilize social networking to create awareness, traffic, preference, brand, and your local community. Selling will happen naturally and the possibility for gain will be huge.

Are You Dying To Know Who Is This Old Spice Guy

July 26th, 2010

Be Limitless Now,

We have all seen the T. V. Commercials. A deep-voiced, muscular, smooth-talking manly man directly addresses the camera as he saunters seamlessly through a series of set changes in a single, uninterrupted take. The ads manage to be sexy and funny at the same time, and they leave everyone wondering, “Who is this Old Spice Guy?”.

The short answer is, “Isaiah Mustafa”. That’s the name of the 36-year-old Portland, Oregon native who has found sudden fame in the shower gel campaign. Before becoming an actor, Mustafa studied history at Arizona State, where he played wide receiver on the football team. While he signed with several professional teams in the National Football League and NFL Europe, including the Seattle Seahawks, Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans and Barcelona Dragons, his football career never quite materialized. At one time he also ran a restaurant called Jo Jo’s Barbecue in Los Angeles.

Then, around 2005, Mustafa started to make episodic appearances in minor roles on TV his television credits include such shows as “Days of Our Lives”, “The Island”, “Ugly Betty”, “Castle”, and “NCIS”. His big break, however, didn’t come until February 2010 when the big ad campaign hit the airwaves, causing an immediate sensation.

Mustafa’s fast climb to celebrity has been aided by his popularity on internet social networking sites. The original TV commercials were already attracting attention on YouTube when Mustafa began making personalized YouTube videos featuring the character from the ads replying to questions submitted by various celebrities and fans through Twitter, Facebook, Reddit and similar sites. The result has been that Mustafa is now one of the internet’s biggest celebrities.

His new found celebrity appears to be paying off. Reportedly, Mustafa is currently at work on Tyler Perry’s upcoming film adaptation of Ntozake Shange’s play “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf”. Along with Mustafa, The cast will include Whoopi Goldberg, Thandie Newton, Kerry Washington, Phylicia Rashad, Janet Jackson, Macy Gray, and others. Mustafa has also recently signed on to appear in “Free Enterprise 2″ with William Shatner.

After that, there is no telling what lies ahead for Mustafa. Mustafa is a lifelong comic book fan, and is apparently interested in playing Luke Cage, the Marvel Comics superhero, though nothing seems to have emerged yet on that front. Meanwhile, Mustafa has reportedly signed a TV Deal with NBC.

Who is that Old Spice guy? His name is Isaiah Mustafa. He’s a savvy, ex-football player and restaurant owner turned actor, who is starting to make a name for himself.

Presently there is much competition, though, so you need to do more than put up a website and bide time until your visitors are able to locate you. Luckily, online marketing does not need to be complicated.

Here are a few tested practices you can use to efficiently advertise your small business online:

* Start up an opt-in email list. When folks see your web site the very first time, they will not be ready to buy from you. They may be looking into a future purchase they plan to make, or perhaps seeing what you have to provide. Don’t trust them to remember you when they’re finally ready to buy what you sell.

That is why it is extremely important to start an opt-in e-mail list. You may put in place an opt-in list through an email list management program. Next invite your web site visitors to keep up to date by leaving you their e mail address. Thus giving you a way to make contact with them frequently with your news and other information.

* Come up with and send out content articles. Generate articles on your specialization and submit them on article banks and other online publishing sites. With each article you write, you develop guru status and get credibility. At the conclusion of every article, include an author’s bio which has a hyperlink to your web page so viewers can check out to read more. It’s zero cost advertising for your business.

* Make and syndicate online press releases. Whenever you have business news, create a press release about it and distribute to the internet press release web sites. This will help prospective customers see that you are managing a credible small business. Additionally, if your press release is optimized for your search phrases, it may show up in the search engine results when people search for those words and phrases.

* Begin a blog. Install a blog to your webpage to encourage your online visitors to socialize with you. Create interesting posts often to help keep your audience coming back. Motivate them to post responses, then answer back to keep the chat going.

* Visit user discussion forums. Publishing posts in user discussion forums is still a good way to plug your small business. Try to find message boards where your market usually spends their spare time, and join the dialogue. Try to make thoughtful posts which help eliminate their problems and answer their queries. Make sure you put in a signature with a url to your web site so folks can click through when they’re ready to discover a little more about you.

* Use social media marketing. Social media marketing web sites like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and YouTube are great methods for you to get your enterprise in front of your market you work in. Research potential prospects and begin to make relationships with them.

If you make use of one of these tips each day, you may perhaps find that promoting your company on-line is a great deal easier than you expected.

Strategies For Video Marketing That You Can Try Today

May 21st, 2010

Be Limitless Now,

The key to a successful online business is the right promotion. You need to get as much attention to your product or service as you can. Higher profits depend on the amount of effort you spend marketing your product or service and ensuring it is well-branded.One of the hottest new ways to create a trusted, positive reputation for your brand while increasing your product exposure is to include video marketing in your promotional repertoire. Video marketing gets results that have been proven by a multitude of Internet businesses enjoying the advantages and profits available only from video marketing. Understanding the power of video marketing requires some analysis of marketing methods being used by those experiencing success, as well as understanding the advantages being gained by video. But you have to keep in mind that this marketing method might not be suitable for every business, so you will have to tailor it according to your needs. There are two things you should focus on.

The Importance of a Well-Constructed Video Lead Capture. The way people watch television is different from the way they watch internet videos, in that on the web, they change much more quickly from one video to the next than they do when watching TV. If your video gets too long, it might lose the attention of the viewer. The purpose of your video marketing campaign is to generate traffic. The entertainment factor of the video is a side concern. If you have identified your target market and you have an outline for the structure of your video, you need to decide the run time. Don’t go over 2 minutes if you just want to put some information on your video. However, 1 minute is the limit for a video advertisement, as you don’t want to overstay your welcome and wear the viewer out.

Using the Internet as your marketing tool means you have to grab someone on sight, or the second they make contact with your information; this way, you can get them back later. Sales to repeat customers can never happen until a customer is secured the first time, which is the most difficult aspect of sales. Use of a video squeeze page on your site makes a customer’s basic contact information easily obtainable (name, email address, etc). Once you have this information, the selling begins; you can keep each subscriber up to date with offers, deals and new products. Vague communications are ineffective; they should be brief and stay clearly on topic. You don’t want people to have to work in order to reach the opt-in form. Uncomplicated bullet points are an effective way to highlight the content of your video. Keep the video presentation as professional as you can; just get the point across. Not everybody wants to read a lot of information, so having a video on your lead capture page that quickly tells them everything they need to know can be a huge benefit.

If you’ve been involved in the field of Internet marketing for any length of time, you’re probably become aware of what a squeeze page, or lead capture page, is, as well as how it works. It’s the simplest way to get hold of your visitor’s contact info such as the name and email address, so that you can get in touch later on to send out your offers/announcements about your products or services. It’s important that your page stay sufficiently short, and also that your opt-in form is “above the fold.” The visitor shouldn’t have to scroll down to see the whole page; it should be visible on the first glance. There are exceptions, however, and sometimes it is necessary for your reader to scroll down a bit.Every step of the important information your video is representing should be given a separate bullet point.

Unless your products and services include professional video production, you should outsource to get quality video, especially when beginning your video marketing. A successful video is one that looks and sounds like a professional campaign. A mistake made by many beginners is attempting to create their own videos when their skill set doesn’t include video editing. Although it may appear to be a useful idea for some, this strategy is not practical for most individuals, as videos must appear truly professional to be effective. You can always outsource this work to someone who knows how to edit and create the video on your behalf. Another possibility is to ask a friend with video creation knowledge and experience to assist you in your efforts. However, you will put yourself in a much better position than your competitors and get an edge on them by hiring out the process of making your marketing video.

Right now, the the video market is wide open, but soon the competition will begin pouring in. You want a jump start so that, when the rush comes, you’re already in the lead. By applying video marketing to your business, you’ll be able to expand your marketing horizons and have a better view of where you’re headed. The whole point in advertising in the first place is to get a wider audience share. It only makes sense to use as many different advertising means as possible. Video advertising can dramatically improve your market share and maximize your campaign revenues.

Be a Star Online: How to Get More YouTube Views Than You Ever Thought Possible

April 11th, 2010

Be Limitless Now,

We live in a Web 2.0 world. What does that mean? Essentially, the Internet is no longer a static environment; today’s Internet is dynamic and interactive. One testament to that is the arrival of so many social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook, which allow us to connect with the people in our lives in a whole new way. In the same way, video-sharing site YouTube allows us to share what we have to say with anyone who is willing to listen, worldwide. By the end of this article you’ll have learned everything you need to know to market your business on YouTube. The ultimate goal is to establish yourself as an expert in your field.

It’s important to strike a balance with your videos in terms of length. Too long, and you’ll lose your viewers’ interest. Too short, and you’ll come across as having limited knowledge of your subject matter. Neither of those things is optimal for promoting a business. Strike a middle ground and you’ll soon reap the rewards, in the form of massive amounts of traffic!

The next task is the matter of standing out from the crowd, to get more YouTube views. YouTube content gets more than a billion viewers every day – yes, that’s billion – so it’s definitely not easy to figure out a way to make sure your content stand out above others’.

One of the very best ways to do that is to make your content specialized. Put another way, create content that focuses on a narrow aspect of your subject matter. Don’t generalize, or you’ll run the risk of creating content that is the same as everyone else’s. Give your viewers something different and you’ll give them a reason to choose you over everyone else.

I know, I know: You’d rather do just about anything else than focus on trying to figure out how to get noticed on YouTube, right? Fortunately for you, there’s a way out that gets you first-rate results. Social media marketing experts uSocial.net have designed a new service aimed specifically at helping people get more YouTube views. Just purchase a package of viewers and they will do the rest.

Declare Yourself an Expert: How to Get More YouTube Views

February 4th, 2010

Be Limitless Now,

YouTube. YouTube. What does that term mean to you? For millions of people around the world, the term “YouTube” triggers images of television bloopers, hidden-camera pranks and clips of great moments in sports. Am I close? I thought so. But YouTube is also a very powerful marketing tool, given the immense popularity of the site. Keep reading to find out how you can harness the power of YouTube to promote your business.

The length of the videos you upload is very important. Don’t skimp on the length, but don’t include so much information that your video is too long, either. The former strategy will discredit you and leave viewers thinking you don’t know enough about your topic to include more information. The latter will leave your viewers feeling bogged down and they will likely not have or take the time to watch the entire thing. Strike a balance.

Figuring out the appropriate length of video to upload can be tricky but it is a critical step in the YouTube marketing process. Do what feels right, and then watch for feedback. Read your viewers’ comments, track your click-through rate, and also take note of any decreases or stagnations in traffic to your site. All of these things are indicators for how effective your video is.

Blaze a trail when it comes to your content. Don’t create content that re-iterates the same information viewers could get anywhere else. Make your content specialized enough that you become the only source from which viewers can get it, and you’ll soon seen a dramatic increase in your site’s traffic.

All of this boils down to one thing: YouTube isn’t just a place to view funny videos or historic speeches. It is a powerful marketing tool that can and ought to be utilized to its full marketing potential if you really want to carve out a spot for your business.

Don’t worry if you don’t think you have the time or the YouTube savvy to do all of this. You don’t need either. Web promotions company uSocial.net will take care of everything for you. They have devised a new service designed specifically to help businesses get more YouTube views. They can help you get the viewers you need with very little effort on your part.
