Good Is Good Enough for A Serious Entrepreneur
August 31st, 2009

No one is Perfect
There are folk who argue that they want perfection before success, and that sounds too much like a reason to be credible, particularly if they don’t set the criteria for what perfection means, nor do they set a cutoff point to achieve it. A lot of top earning marketers have achieved their goals without this’perfection’, and saying moral ascendancy over them won’t put food on your table.
Everyone will have their good days and bad days, and it is time to tell yourself that it’s OK to make mistakes. If a customer or customer makes reasonable complaints, make amends and correct it. Pay attention to their feedback, and use it on your later projects. That’s one additional step to’perfection’ that you could not make if you had not put your product out there in the first place.
Time to Move On
Naturally it’s part and parcel of being a serious entrepreneur to learn as much as you can about your craft and to develop your skill, but if everyone spent all their time studying to be something, there will be nobody left to do the real work. Experience is also the best teacher ; how will you know if your product or service is up to standards, if you don’t try it out in the market?
The reality is, educational study is a comfort zone that some folk do not wish to move out from. You do not want to stop improving once your product hits the market. In fact, that’s's the simplest way to see what improvements you want to make.
A serious entrepreneur should, therefore , be results-oriented : a client or buyer would be happier to see a project that is 80% adequate, than not see a 100% perfect one.
It has been Done Before
How many products have you seen on the market which has been about for a bit and will suddenly have advertisements that claims’NEW AND IMPROVED’? Businesses that work are prepared to take the danger of small successes to get their feet wet and work their way up the market. At the end of the day, the only real way to become a serious entrepreneur is to take action. Remember that sloppy success beats perfect mediocrity.
Never before has serious entrepreneur been this fast and easy! Grab all the inside dish while there’s still time at successful entrepreneurs

Top Earning Marketers Make Killer Money from Home By Delegating
July 29th, 2009
Picture this: you wake up, walk to your computer, work, and become one of the top earning marketers – all while you’re still in your pajamas! How awesome is it to work amongst the creature comforts of home? With so many business opportunities crawling out of the woodwork online, this is all made possible.
One thing to consider in your quest to make money from home is not to lose sight of the big picture as you take care of the smallest details. Outsourcing can help you there.
Outsourcing the Little Things

- It is efficient, and so much cheaper.
- There is less paperwork and less gasoline consumption because you don’t have to travel anywhere to work. You don’t need to worry about laundry when you can wear just about anything you like. Why, you don’t even have to worry about the maintenance of upkeep of proper office premises.
- When you outsource, you won’t have to deal with human resources. Consequently, your outsourcing partner gets to be his own boss.
- No matter how smart you are, or how talented you may be, you can’t do everything – that’s a fact. You know what they say: “Jack of all trades, master of none.”
Most of the top earning marketers have learned when and how to use outsourcing as a tool for success and profit. Rather than lose focus of the small things (which also cannot be ignored), they get professionals to do it. As a result, top earning marketers get to keep their minds on the big picture. It is not a crutch that you can do without, but rather, a helping hand when you need it most.
Know the Benefits of Delegation
When you make money from home with your own enterprise, you automatically become your own boss. Sometimes you might encounter certain things that you don’t know what to do with or how to accomplish, so rest easy, knowing that you can always find someone else to do it and outsource it to them. Not only can outsourcers get it done, they can also do it better. Such an opportunity is something that top earning marketers use with prudence.

Survive the Recession: Be a Top Marketing Entrepreneur
July 25th, 2009
French in origin, the word ‘entrepreneur’ was first defined by the Irish economist, Richard Cantillon, as “a person who takes it upon himself to capitalize, invest, and assume accountability for the creation and marketing of new goods or products.” By its very definition, an entrepreneur is one that does not take no for an answer and creates his own success in business.
What does it take to be a top marketing entrepreneur?
It seems like a daunting challenge to be a serious entrepreneur these days with the recession and the tight market, but there will always be some need or new product that will have to be introduced or marketed to the public. All you have to do is find it. The most capitalization that anyone, as a top marketing entrepreneur, would have to put in would be commitment to the enterprise.
Big Things Come in Small Packages

Most, if not all, of MLM ventures don’t really require huge amounts of capital. You would even be quite surprised to learn that the foundation of these networks is the people who are closest to you personally. This doesn’t make it any easier, though. The good thing about this is that it is very flexible, and it can benefit everyone, especially the consumers.
If you see an MLM promising you big returns for “recruiting” rather than selling, this is a sign that it is probably a pyramid scheme, so steer clear of it. It’s called a pyramid because of the wide base (downline) and narrow top, and the focus is to widen that base so that the top could get more profits.
Beating the Recession
The top marketing entrepreneur that you can be doesn’t wait around for an opportunity to knock on his door – he creates one. It is true that finding a job in today’s market is not an easy task, but it is easier than taking a risk with your own investments. It is, however, not as rewarding. In essence, it is the path of least resistance, and perhaps, a path that you are better off leaving.

Survival Tactics of Serious Entrepreneurs
July 25th, 2009
Serious Entrepreneur, is your life balanced or a balancing act? In business today, it seems we are under greater pressure than ever before. In our quest to be successful, we’re working harder and longer just to stay in the race.
And when you keep on running marathons, you forget how it is to walk, or maybe jog a bit to relax.
Serious entrepreneurs, who do internet marketing, are forever bogged down by the flood of mails they get, speeches they have to make, leads they have to follow, marketing strategies they have to master, product launches they have to manage, and affiliates they have to help. And together with all these, they also have to satisfy their obligations to the society, and their kith and kin and kids.

In the January issue of Professional Speaker magazine, serious entrepreneur John Alston writes: “For some of us, work is our first love, and for those of us struggling to make our businesses work, there are patient and enduring lovers, spouses and children hanging in there with us. For others there are ex-lovers, ex-spouses and alienated children who can and will testify to what you really value.”
Practically no arena of life is free of stress and strain. However, an internet marketing job is a different kettle of fish altogether. Whether you are into it full time or part time, an internet marketing job sucks the juice out of your system. What is left of you is more or less unrecognizable to you yourself. In short, you are at the mercy of your pressure-tension potpourri pretty much round the clock.
For most serious entrepreneurs that I have come into contact with, internet marketing is a consummate passion. It is almost like a swelling urge that would choke them if they could not find proper outlets for it. Everything that defines internet marketing, like the freedom to be their own boss, its unlimited moneymaking potentials, and its ever-widening opportunities, define life itself for them.
But they also know how long they should work, and when they should stop.
Serious entrepreneurs who are truly happy have a life beyond checking their email, landing the next deal, and checking their spreadsheets for that day’s sales.
They take time for “dates” with their spouses, attend their children’s sports events and piano recitals. They hit the gym, fish and hunt, take guitar lessons, and have backyard barbecues. They take time to meditate, do yoga, read just to rejuvenate.
A balance between work, play, worship, and giving back to the community is not so much about finding the time to do everything equally. It’s more about recognizing that time consistently spent engaging in the activities that we love the most feeds our soul and enables us to live a satisfying, grounded life.
It is senseless to carp that you do not find enough time to do what you want to do.
Time has to be parceled off to incorporate into one’s schedule, those things which one enjoys. There are so many things in human life, the vey doing of which is its own reward. These cannot be pigeonholed. It is better to pigeonhole some of the work and find time for these.
It was Albert Schweitzer who said, “Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” And it perhaps holds true for serious entrepreneurs more than to any one else.

Successful Entrepreneurs: Can They Make You One of Them?
June 1st, 2009
If you are a newbie in an enterprise like Internet marketing, it is recommended to find an expert in this field. It would be great to have someone like this show you the ropes. You might need to find one of those successful entrepreneurs who knows what they’re talking about. But finding the right resource person who is skilled in both business and mentorship might be taxing.
Regardless of the argument, however, one thing’s for certain: very few professions are as respected as teaching.
The Good Teacher
They say that “those who can’t do, teach.” Although this adage may be true, some people would argue that it undermines the very noble and infinitely complex skill that is teaching.
On the other side of the fence, there is also the idea that those who CAN do are incapable of teaching effectively. That is because they know and do something so well that it’s almost second nature to them that it’s unfair to expect others, especially their own students, to do just as well.
Grain of Salt
You might have been bombarded with e-mails on how to become one of those to earners. Before you take their word for it, or even delete these messages, here are a few tips to help you decide when you’ve struck gold, or when you’ve just encountered a dud:
1. If you have a history with this guru, look back and analyze to determine if you do have a future together. If not, ask around and see how other students have fared with him.
2. Find out what you do need to know, and determine if this guru seems like a credible source for that knowledge.
3. If the mentor is more focused on selling you something, consider that a red flag. No mentor can give you a 100 percent guarantee of success, but he should be able to give you a safe estimate on your success rate. He should teach you the ways of the successful entrepreneurs.
4. When you have found a teacher who is a good fit to what you need and what you can afford (that is to say, one who can explain things in ways that are useful to you), then he has earned your trust enough to build a relationship with him. There are, indeed, successful entrepreneurs out there who are definite keepers, so hold on to them when you do find them. Sooner or later, you will have earned yourself a passage to the exclusive successful entrepreneurs club.

Can Successful Entrepreneurs Turn You Into One?

The Teacher
“Those who can’t do, teach.” An adage that you have probably heard at some time, or another. This is an adage that can sometimes be true, although it does underestimate the complex skill needed to teach something to someone.
On the flip side of that coin is the idea that those who CAN do, CAN’T teach because knowing something inside your head and applying it to practical use, as well as being able to get someone else to do it as successfully as what you have are two very different things.
Grain of Salt
Like hawkers selling their wares, you have probably been bombarded with e-mails and ads about how to become a top earner. But before you take their word as gold (or alternatively click on the “delete all” button), here are a few tips to help you decide when to sit up and pay attention and when not to:
1. Compare your history with your new mentor and gauge your success with him. Ask him pertinent questions about how he got started and how he worked his way to the top. Asking these questions will give you his background and work ethics.
2. Research on your guru’s background and find out what you need to know. This will help you determine if this person is a credible source of knowledge.
3. If the advertiser is more keen on selling you something, rather than concerned about the final outcome and how it could possibly affect you, that is a red flag. Of course, no guru can give you a 100 percent guarantee of success, but he should, at least, be able to tell you what the odds of you becoming one of them successful entrepreneurs are.
4. When you have found a teacher who is a good fit to what you need and what you can afford (that is to say, one who can explain things in ways that are useful to you), then he has earned your trust enough to build a relationship with him. Achieving that Entrepreneur Mindset
April 29th, 2009
To become successful, you have to have the entrepreneur mindset. You have to condition your mind to think of business as a long-term profession, not just some fly by night affair. Make it your passion. What better way to start your career than with self-improvement?
Entering network marketing is a challenge. You have to be fully-equipped with the knowledge and the skills to make it in this industry. You have to have a lot of guts, too.
Your Greatest Asset is You
Success comes to those who toil hard. If an opportunity comes, you have really got to give it your all. You just can’t do things half-heartedly and expect them to pay off.
You are the asset whose worth will never decrease, nor dissipate. Whatever capital input you put into educating yourself will directly and immediately accrue on your value. You are also the only asset that will stay with you through it all because everything and everyone else is expendable.
You: A Work in Progress
You are not perfect, though. But if you make the necessary adjustments to make yourself better, then it will be worthwhile. Getting into the millionaire state of mind is a constant learning process and not something that can be done overnight.
Educate yourself on how to enrich your entrepreneur mindset. After all, everyone benefits from reading books. Here are a few enriching books on the topic:
- How to Make Millions with Your Ideas: An Entrepreneur’s Guide (Dan Kennedy)
- 4-Hour Workweek (Tim Ferriss)
- Rich Dad’s Cashflow Quadrant (Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad)
- Magic Words that Bring You Riches (Ted Nicholas)
- Dan Kennedy’ No B.S. Time Management for Entrepreneurs
- Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
- 10 Natural Laws of Successful Time and Life Management by Hyrum Smith
- Meatball Sunday and others by Seth Godin
- Reality Check (Guy Kawasaki)
- Mike Michalowicz’s Toilet Paper Entrepreneur
Enrich yourself by attending forums and seminars. There is also a vast wealth of information on the Internet, so do browse through the many resources and learn from them, as well. Lastly, set your heart on it completely and irrevocably. Things are easier when you’ve got your heart on it. Best of luck with the entrepreneur mindset.
