MLM Leaders Prepare For A Marathon, Not A Sprint

I will have a question for you. Have you ever quit something before you have even started? Then you probably have. Are you building a network marketing business currently? For a moment closely in your organization, how many people are sticking with it? How many people are quitting? How many people are taking action? It amazes me that the numbers of people that take action are very, very slim. It’s just a realistic look at the world, not just in network marketing, but around the globe. 98% of people are not making it happen from themselves, whether in network marketing or anything else. But here is the thing that drives me crazy, the people would quit something before they even tried it. The reality is in the marketplace of network marketing, this is not a make money fast scheme at all. And the people who think that dive in and have some expectations happening in the first two weeks or first two months and it doesn’t happen, they quit.
This can be a business of not getting rich overnight. It is getting filthy rich over a long time. So from 12 to 36 months, you could alter your entire income. You can alter your entire future. That’s not a lot of time. Let’s just say less than six years, you can really start to make some serious money if you stay committed, if you do not quit. Three to five years is nothing to build a residual income. People are working 40 hours a week for their entire life and they retire by 60 with nothing. I am talking about less than six years to build residual earnings that will pay for the rest of your life and people can’t commit to that? It blows my mind.
Now, I had to come through this. I am not going to lie but it really bothered me. In building my team, I had an expectation that everybody will go on to have success and I had arrive at terms that only a certain number of individuals will take action and move in the direction of their dreams. As sad is that is, it’s something all leaders must have to accept. Because we cannot make people make it happen. We can just show them the path, show them the opportunity, give them the tools, and if they choose not to run, we need to let them go.
I had to work on that big time. I let it stop me. I have no problems signing people up, no problem talking to people, no problem on recruiting. But if I bring a bunch of people in my business, and I am watching lots of them not having success, that really, really bothers me. What’s made a difference for me was that all the leaders I talked to up there said a similar thing. You need to ignored. You have to keep moving forward. It’s just the nature of the game, the nature of the human being. As sad as it is, it’s just how it is.
At the end for the day, what everyone has to do is to look at ourselves, look at what it will drive you, the facts that will keep you hanging around for the future, because this is simply not a sprint. It’s a marathon. The facts that will keep you on the game? What is your why? What is your drive? What is your passion? You’ve got to be clear about that.

Top One Percent Of MLM Leaders Understand These Two Steps

Due to my frustration of not seeing results with the current workout plan that I was on, I decided to hire a personal trainer. As my personal trainer was seeing to it that I saw value in hiring him, it made me realize the similarities that personal trainers have in common with MLM leaders.
1. If you want to go to the next level, it will cost you something. Of course you will see improvements training on your own, but if you really want to go the next level in your workout, you must have someone pushing you to your limits. The same is true in MLM. If you are not willing to invest in yourself through conferences, books, or take advice from trusted industry leaders, the chances of personal breakthrough are limited. True commitment requires sacrifice in order to see results. Sacrifice could be your time, energy or resources. Here’s what separates good MLM Leaders from great MLM Leaders: Great MLM Leaders understand the importance of continual learning.
2. Going to the next level requires honesty. During my session with my personal trainer, I considered taking the easy way out and “saving energy” when he asked me if I could do a couple more sit ups. Believe me, my stomach would be feeling a ton better right now. However, that would not have benefited me at all. The bottom line is, only I knew exactly how I was feeling and I knew I had a couple more in me. After all, that’s the reason I hired a Personal trainer in the first place, so that He could help me get better results. The same is true of MLM leaders. I must be willing to admit that I don’t have all the answers and sometimes it’s incredible helpful to get someone else to evaluate where I might be stuck. MLM leaders are honest with themselves and do not let pride get in the way of where they could go rather than where they are.
The way I needed a personal trainer to push my limits is the same way I need someone who can challenge me in areas that I might not see in my Multi Level Marketing business. I needed to find someone who was willing to coach me and be brutally honest with me even when the truth hurt. While this process is incredibly painful, it will yield staggering results. MLM Leads – Top 5 Traits to Look for

In order to grow a successful network marketing business, you need to search for the right people. Your business is founded on the quality of MLM leads you target. I’ll share with you 5 proven qualities to look for when prospecting new MLM leads.
1. Attitude ~ Folks with great attitudes are proven winners for you business. These folks offer intensity and enthusiasm to anything they take on. Their attitude is contagious and other folks want to affiliate themselves with them. This is the type of MLM lead that will no doubt increase the prosperity of your business since they have a decisive attitude on life and their endeavors.
2. Personality ~ It’s a well know fact that network marketing is a people business. Folks have a desire to surround themselves with people with a good personality. Because these people are such a pleasure to be around, I seek out these people whenever I recruit for my MLM. Moreover, these folks seem to lure others with the same quality, rendering them crucial to your company.
3. Drive ~ Everyone knows that it takes a lot of hard work and commitment to succeed in network marketing. Accordingly, when facing difficulty and rejection, it’s the person with the most drive that will succeed and not give up. Don’t make the mistake of targeting everyone or you will end up losing the majority of people that won’t succeed. A person who is completely driven will have the tendency to motivate everybody they are involved with. Being driven is a very contagious attribute and one that great MLM leaders seek when recruiting leads.
4. Leadership ~ You view people as a true leader with not only the success they’ve achieved but the characteristics they exhibit. Why do we follow great leaders and seek them for motivation. True leaders have passion for what they do. They are consistently positive, energetic and optimistic. Even in failure they are unwilling to give up and consistently motivate others that their goals can be achieved. Not only are these people completely committed to what they undertake, they inspire the people around them to emulate their passion. Anyone can be a leader, they just have to be willing to rise above the status quo and learn the skills that others are unfit or unwilling to learn.
5. Goal Oriented ~ A good MLM lead will have set goals they are pursuing and have a plan of action to achieve them. Question your leads and determine if they do in fact have a plan and know where they are going. Don’t waste your time prospecting for your network marketing business if a lead does not have a set course mapped out for their future. These people will only hold you back and be a liability.

What Does It Take To Be A MLM Leader?

Alright folks, no more looking for an MLM Leader that you can follow. That leader that you are looking for is already present. It is you and you must step up to plate and become that leader. All of the top income earners in any network marketing business will be leaders. Just look at your own company as an example; they are the top leaders in your company. You will not find someone that just happened to find 5 people that really took off and created a residual income for that person. Each of those top income earners are leaders.
What separates these leaders from the rest of the group is that they took action and became a leader that people would want to follow. It is easy to sponsor new distributors when you are a leader because people want to follow you. They know that you can help them succeed. Think about it, would you rather join someone that is endlessly sponsoring new reps and coaching them to succeed as well or do you want to be sponsored by someone who is absolutely struggling or even worse is not doing anything at all for the advancement of their business.
As a leader you must have know and have some important things in place to succeed. You have to know how to teach new marketing skills. Although there are many marketing strategies that work, not all necesarily are Next, do you have a system in which your entire team can utilize and achieve success as well while utilizing a variety of marketing strategies?
The kind of system you need to have in place will allow anyone you recruit to be able to use easily, profit quickly, and effortlessly sponsor new reps. Thirdly, you must be doing what you are teaching your downline. If you are not continually sponsoring new distributors your team will fail. If they do not see you doing what you are teaching them to do they may begin to question your abilities and your system if you are not sponsoring anyone.

If you said no, you must bring about that desire and willingness. You must also have a system that can be reproduced and marketed in a way in which anyone can succeed.
